What To Expect
What are your worship services like?
When you drive into our Property, find yourself a parking spot in our main parking area. Our team of greeters will welcome you at the parking area and our front door. If you need help finding our Mothers Room, Children's Church or bathrooms they will help you find your way.
Our music team will begin the service at 8:30am with some contemporary music led with guitars, drums and vocals, followed by a sermon by one of our Leaders. Thereafter we enjoy some good coffee together.
What should I wear?
We invite you to come dressed in whatever clothes you feel most comfortable in. Whether itʼs baggies and sandals, jeans, or your favourite suit, you and your family will be warmly received.
Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?
If you are visiting, we do not ask you to give a cent when we pass the offering bags around. We will also not make you wear a visitor badge, ask you to stand up or single you out in any way so that everyone can see you. We would however like you to fill out a Guest Info Card so that we can assist you in your visit at Solid Ground.
What is available for my children?
If you have a child aged 3-5 years, you're welcome to check them into Noah's Park, our toddler children's church program. Check-in opens during the announcements in our main meeting, which is usually around 9:10am.
If you have a child between Grade 0-7, we encourage you to check them in to our fantastic Kids Church program. Check-in opens at 8:10am and their program ends at 10am.
If you have a child aged 3-9 years, you're welcome to check them into Kids Movie Club, where your child will be supervised while watching a movie. Check-in opens from 5:50pm and the movie starts at 6:00pm.
Meals are also on sale after our evening meetings at R20 each.
If you need directions to any of our venues, please ask one of our Greeters.
Do you have a Nursery or Mothers room?
We also have an allocated Mothers Room. This room is strictly for mothers only who are nursing their children. Here you’ll be able to watch a live feed of the sermon and have access to toiletries for your baby as well a few refreshments for yourself.
